ECHO — App-Controlled Sound Mine for Airsoft

Echo is a reusable electronic sound mine system designed for airsoft, milsim and scenario-based games. Each Echo unit combines a motion sensor, built-in sound system and Bluetooth control into a compact field device. The mine is configured and controlled directly from the Echo mobile application, allowing the game organizer to deploy several units around the playing area and configure their behaviour individually. Echo does not require mobile data, Wi-Fi infrastructure, a SIM card or an external server. Communication between the device and the application is handled locally via Bluetooth. Echo is sold as a set of 3 units.

HOW ECHO WORKS

Place the Echo unit at the required position on the game field, connect it to the Echo application and configure its operating mode. Once armed, the built-in motion detection system monitors the area around the device. When movement is detected, Echo can activate the selected sound effect. Depending on the game scenario, Echo can operate as a single-use sound mine, repeatedly reactivate after triggering, recognize an authorized owner, or work as part of a countdown-based objective. This makes the same hardware reusable across different types of games instead of being limited to a single scenario.

MAIN FEATURES

Android app control: Echo is configured and controlled through the dedicated Echo application. The application is currently available for Android only. Bluetooth connection: Direct local communication between the smartphone and Echo. No internet connection or external server is required. Motion activation: The integrated detection system can trigger the selected sound when movement is detected. Single Trigger Mode: Echo activates once and remains inactive after triggering until it is armed again. Repeated Trigger Mode: The device can automatically return to an armed state after activation and continue operating during the game. Friend / Foe Owner Recognition: An optional owner-recognition function allows an authorized user carrying the connected app/device to pass through the detection area without triggering the mine. While the owner is within the recognition area, Echo can temporarily remain inactive. After the owner leaves the area, the mine automatically returns to the armed state. Countdown / Bomb Mode: Echo can also be used as a timed game objective. A countdown can be configured through the application, allowing the device to act as a bomb or timed scenario element. Multiple Sound Options: Different sounds can be used depending on the selected scenario, including explosive-style sound effects and other game signals. Reusable Design: Echo is not a disposable pyrotechnic device. It can be repositioned, reconfigured and reused for multiple games and scenarios.

BUILT-IN SOUND SYSTEM

Each Echo unit contains a 3 W integrated speaker designed to produce a concentrated, clearly audible sound at the device location. Rather than trying to reproduce the effect of a large field loudspeaker, Echo is designed to create a localized audio event exactly where the mine or objective has been placed. This allows it to be used for simulated explosions, alerts, objective signals and other sound-based game events.

POWER SUPPLY

Echo is powered by a standard 5 V USB power bank installed by the user inside the dedicated battery compartment. Power bank is not included. The device is intentionally supplied without a lithium battery or power bank because international transport of lithium-based batteries is subject to additional shipping restrictions, handling requirements and carrier limitations. Using a separate standard USB power bank also gives the user the freedom to choose the required capacity and replace the power source locally when necessary.

ANDROID APP

The Echo application provides the main control interface for the system. From the app, the user can connect to an Echo unit, configure its operating behaviour, arm or disarm the device, set activation options and control supported game modes. Important: Echo currently supports Android devices only. iOS support is not currently available.

DESIGNED FOR AIRSOFT GAME ORGANIZERS

Echo was created primarily for game organizers who need reusable electronic objectives without complicated infrastructure. A three-unit set can be distributed around a playing field and used as mines, traps, timed objectives or interactive scenario elements. The same devices can then be reconfigured for the next game through the application. There is no need to permanently assign one Echo unit to one specific game mode.
