Privacy Policy for ECHO

ECHO is a companion application for compatible ECHO Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.

ECHO is developed and provided by IntelArms, operated by Viktor Morozov in Lithuania.

Data Collection

ECHO does not require user registration and does not create user accounts.

ECHO does not collect, store on remote servers, sell, or share personal user information.

Bluetooth

ECHO uses Bluetooth permissions to discover, connect to, communicate with, and advertise to compatible ECHO devices.

On older Android versions, Android may require location permission for Bluetooth Low Energy device discovery. ECHO does not use this permission to determine, track, store, or transmit the user’s physical location.

Local Data

ECHO may store device names, configuration settings, operating preferences, and locally generated device identifiers on the user’s Android device.

This information remains on the device and is not transmitted to IntelArms, a remote server, or any third party.

Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored application data remains on the user’s Android device until the user deletes it.

Users can delete all locally stored ECHO data at any time by clearing the application’s storage through Android settings or by uninstalling the application.

Because ECHO does not create user accounts and does not store personal information on external servers, IntelArms does not retain personal user data remotely.

Foreground Bluetooth Service

ECHO may use a foreground Bluetooth service to maintain communication and owner identification with compatible ECHO devices while the application is running in the background.

A visible Android notification may be displayed while this function is active.

Internet Connection

ECHO does not require an internet connection for its core functionality and does not transmit application data to IntelArms servers.

Advertising and Analytics

ECHO does not contain advertising SDKs and does not use third-party analytics or user-tracking services.

Third Parties

ECHO does not sell, transfer, or share personal user information with third parties.

Data Security

ECHO processes Bluetooth information, device settings, and operating preferences locally on the user’s Android device.

Access to this information is controlled by the security and application-storage mechanisms provided by the Android operating system.

Children’s Privacy

ECHO is intended for users aged 18 and over. The application is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when application functionality or applicable legal requirements change.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
